Tim’s received a call from a client in desperate need of a heavy tow service team to come to their aid. A 53-foot box van containing 31,000 lbs of clothes had rolled over in a warehouse parking lot on Sonny Perdue Drive. The trailer was now lying on it’s side with all the clothing still inside of it. The client urgently needed to get this trailer upright so it could get back on the road and to its final destination. 

The client had called several other heavy tow companies who refused to upright the trailer as it was. They said it was impossible to upright it without unloading the 31,000 lbs of cargo in it. Once the client got in touch with the team at Tim’s, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief. Tim’s had all the equipment and the right team on hand to do the job. Using a 60 ton rotator and a 50 ton wrecker, the team was able to upright the trailer in no time! The Heavy Tow Service team received a call at the dispatch center. The Heavy Tow Service team was needed to upright a 53 foot box trailer that had rolled over in a warehouse parking lot. A Heavy Tow Service team was dispatched immediately. The Heavy Tow Service drove to the warehouse parking lot on Sonny Purdue Drive, 7.8 miles away from Tim’s Towing. The Heavy Tow Service team drove along the US-80 E and Chatham Parkway.  The Heavy Tow Service team arrived at the warehouse parking lot. 

The Heavy Tow Service team assessed the situation. The Heavy Tow Service team noted that a 53 foot trailer was lying sideways on the ground. The Heavy Tow Service team noted that the trailer had 31,000 lbs of cargo in it. The Heavy Tow Service team did not know what caused the trailer to overtun. The Heavy Tow Service team carefully placed thick towing straps underneath the front of the trailer. Working together, the Heavy Tow Service team used the 60 ton rotator and 50 ton wrecker to gently upright the fallen trailer. The Heavy Tow Service team uprighted the trailer. The Heavy Tow Service inspected the trailer for damage. The Heavy Tow Service team noted that the only damage to the trailer was on the top rail and that this damage was caused by the initial fall, not during the lifting of the trailer.
